Hi, I'm Rebecca Claros. I was born in Berlin, Germany and grew up as a military brat, which meant changing schools often—I attended over 25 different schools throughout my childhood. I've lived in Colorado since 1998 and have spent most of my career in healthcare. Nursing was my first love, and I worked in that field for over a decade before earning my Master’s in Social Work.

That led me to child protection, where I had the privilege of working with at-risk youth for more than six years. After that, I spent five years in hospice care, supporting individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Now, I’m stepping into the school setting, and I’m excited to be here. This is a new chapter for me, and I’m eager to learn from all of you. Please feel free to talk to me about what works best in your classrooms—I’m here to support you and grow alongside you. My door is always open, and I’m truly honored to be part of this community.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to a daughter and a son, and a very happy grandma to my beautiful granddaughter. I also share my home with my toy poodle, Bro—he’s a big part of my world. I love being outdoors in Colorado, especially when I’m near water. Staying active and enjoying sports are also important parts of my life.
