I am excited to be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade grammar at PTEC this year. This is my second year at PTEC, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a supportive and engaging school community.

Over the years, I’ve taught a range of subjects including 6th grade English, 6th and 7th grade History, and 11th grade History. My teaching philosophy is simple: Every student can learn and should enjoy learning. I strive to create a classroom environment that builds confidence and helps students become effective communicators.

Originally from Alabama—War Eagle!—I spent six wonderful years living in Germany before moving to Colorado in early 2024. I’m happily married and proud to be a mom to three amazing kids: DJ (16), Destinee (15), and Damari (12).

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family. We’re big SEC football fans and never miss a game day! We also enjoy traveling, hiking, family game nights, and I always try to sneak in some time to read a good fantasy novel.
