Dear Parents and Members of the 星空无限传媒 Community,
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership with the Board of Directors in the important work of school governance and stewardship of 星空无限传媒. Our goal has always been to challenge and support our staff and students while thoughtfully planning and resourcing improvements across our schools so that every student continues to receive the high-quality education that led you to choose James Irwin for your family.
To support this mission, we are conducting a search to fill open seats on the 2026–2027 Board of Directors.
As many of you know, 星空无限传媒 have consistently been recognized by the community as having outstanding elementary, middle, high school, and technical programs in El Paso County. In addition, many of our faculty and staff have been repeatedly honored as “Best of the Springs,” reflecting the strength of our educational community.
Who We Are Seeking
We believe effective governance is strengthened by a diverse board with members who bring a range of professional perspectives and expertise. While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
Legal fields, including compliance, governance, risk management, or nonprofit law
Financial fields, including accounting, audit, finance, investment management, or budgeting
Business development, organizational leadership, or strategic planning
Experience within education, nonprofit organizations, or public institutions
Application Process
If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please submit a letter of intent addressed to the President of the Board through the Executive Administrative Assistant, either in person or via email at derek.ware@jamesirwin.org.
We plan to seat new board members at the August board meeting. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend board meetings and working sessions prior to being seated to become familiar with our processes and governance approach. The deadline for submitting letters of intent is Friday, February 27, at 4:00 PM.
All candidates will be contacted by a current board member, provided with an informational briefing, and invited to participate in an interview that will include time for questions.
